Corkage Fee

A per-bottle charge some venues add when you bring your own wine or spirits.
A corkage fee is what a venue or caterer charges to open and serve alcohol you supplied yourself, rather than buying it from them. It is usually quoted per bottle (for example, a set amount per 750ml bottle of wine).
Corkage covers the glassware, ice, service, and cleanup around drinks you brought in. If you would rather have it handled for you, compare drinks and bar services on Eventors, and always ask a venue whether outside alcohol is allowed and what the corkage rate is.
