Master of Ceremonies (Emcee)

Master of Ceremonies (Emcee)

The host who guides guests through the program and keeps the event on schedule.

A master of ceremonies, or emcee, is the person who announces what happens next and keeps the room moving through the program: welcomes, introductions, toasts, the first dance, and so on.

The role is often filled by your DJ or a professional host who coordinates closely with your coordinator off the run of show, so transitions feel smooth rather than rushed or forgotten.
